The inn has eight rooms in the main house and a two room cottage suite attached to the main house. The inn serves a continental plus breakfast every morning along with tea in the afternoon. Guests can mix friendly conversation while relaxing in the living room or front porch of the 148 year old inn, which overlooks the Village Green. There are common sitting areas where guests can take a quick nap or just relax. The common areas feature two fireplaces, antiques, and the work of several local artists. Guests are invited to use the large living room and front and back porches, and enjoy the perennial gardens. Or they can browse through the library of Inn Guides and brochures of area attractions in the lobby. Take a stroll through the inn's gardens fo some fresh air or to watch the sunset. A shuttle service is available nearby along with business services, dry cleaning services, and laundry facilities. The inn offers free local calls to all guests. All rooms have been recently redecorated and are furnished with country antiques and reproductions. Each guest room has a private bath, cable television, air conditioning, smoke detectors, and a telephone. 5 Elm Street, Milford, CT - From Hartford Airport: Take exit 15 at Southbury. Go right at bottom of ramp onto 6 and 67 north. In two miles, 67 north turns left. Follow 67 north approximately 18 miles to New Milford. At the intersection with 202, go straight onto 202 east and pass a gas station on the right. Proceed 3 blocks to the light. Make a left on Elm Street and go one block. Make a right turn on Treadwell and the inn is on the left side. Turn left into the parking lot behind inn.
